Thaddeus Jones is the Founder and Managing Partner of Nexus Search Partners, a retained executive search and advisory firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC. He established Nexus to reimagine the executive search process by introducing diverse talent networks, conducting in-depth cultural assessments, and providing executive coaching. Since launching the firm, Nexus Search Partners has placed several top executives at leading corporations nationwide.

Throughout Thadd’s extensive corporate career, he has led global talent for Fortune 50 companies such as Target Corporation, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Amazon. As Amazon’s Head of Global Talent, his team supported the fastest-growing business, including Amazon’s last-mile delivery, global logistics, and specialty fulfillment (Prime, Fresh, Pantry, and Whole Foods).

Most recently, Thadd served as Executive Vice President and Chief Talent Officer for Red Ventures—a multi-billion dollar operating private equity firm with over 21 companies in its portfolio, including Bankrate, CNET, Healthgrades, Healthline Media, Lonely Planet, and The Points Guy.

His experience as a former C-level HR leader gives him a unique line of sight into the role executive search and advisory firms play in increasing diverse representation at the executive and board levels.

Thadd is an active member of the Charlotte community and serves on the board of directors for several civic organizations. He and his wife, Dr. Tiffani Jones, have two children and are actively involved at their school.

Thadd is a proud HBCU graduate of Tennessee State University, where he was a student-athlete and earned a degree in business administration.
